Hello to all you bloggers out there. This is my first post on my first blog. Its a rather surreal moment for me because in a way, it is the fulfillment of one of my dreams. I always dreamed of being published, of writing a book. It occurs to me that this is probably as good as its gonna get for being published. Writing consumable words seems to be my thing right now. I hope that anyone who visits my blog will enjoy the stop here. There is alot to look at on the internet and it feels good to try to offset some of the yuck with some...well, not too bad stuff.
The title Answer to My Prayers is because all of my life, all of my work, all of my deeds and most of my thoughts seem to be conversations with God and responses to those conversations. Whatever I share is an answer to prayer, in some form or another. If this blog inspires some to pray and listen to the voice of God, then it is worth me getting here.
A.W. Tozer is one of my favorite authors and this is a thought from his book, The Pursuit of God. "God formed us for his pleasure, and so formed us that we, as well as he, can, in divine communion, enjoy the sweet and mysterious mingling of kindred personalities. He meant us to see Him and live with Him and draw our life from His smile."
